Professor Juraj Gazda is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computers and Informatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Slovakia. He currently serves as the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer, where he leads strategic initiatives focused on strengthening research commercialization, university–industry collaboration, and technology-driven innovation ecosystems.

He is also the head of the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory at FEI TUKE. His research interests include trustworthy artificial intelligence, large language models, autonomous systems, and high-performance computing applications for industrial and critical infrastructure domains. Professor Gazda actively leads international research collaborations and contributes to several EU-funded initiatives, bridging advanced research outcomes with practical real-world impact.

In addition to his research leadership, he is actively engaged in academic publishing, innovation programme development, and strengthening partnerships between universities, SMEs, and public sector stakeholders.

Professor Ts. Dr. Muhammad Suzuri Hitam obtained his doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Control from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 1997. He currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

Previously, he held various positions, including Head of the Computer Science Department, Chairman of the Computer Science and Marine Informatics Program, Head of the Marine and Informatics Modeling Research Interest Group, and Director of the Information Technology Management Center at UMT.

His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. He has published more than 100 papers in refereed journals, conference proceedings, and product exhibitions at both national and international levels. He has also completed over 30 research projects with a total funding amount of RM6.35 million. In addition, he has delivered several invited international public lectures, including at the EDUtech CIO Asia Summit.
